David is an Associate Professor of Marketing at Heriot Watt University, active within Sustainable and Social Marketing. He has an interest in the demarketing of ‘sin goods’ through ‘sin taxes’, other consumer disincentives and nudges. He is currently researching the potential of lo/no-alcohol products to influence the consumption behaviours and practices of ‘normative’ drinkers, and barriers to the market penetration of lo/no-alcohol products.
